We offer worship service at 11:00 am.
All teens and adults are invited to the Sanctuary as we direct our attention to corporate prayer, singing and giving. We usually begin the services with about 20 mins of corporate singing. Our main desire in all of our music is that it be Christ-centered, biblically-based and doctrinally rich.
After singing, our attention is turned towards the preaching and teaching of the Word of God. (1 Timothy 3:2, 2 Timothy 2:24, 1 Corinthians 1:21, Titus 1:3). Pastor Scott preaches through whole books of the Bible as his sermon series. At First Baptist Church Elkton, we believe that expository preaching is the most efficient and biblical way to preach through the Word of God.
At the conclusion of each service, there is a time of prayer where people are encouraged to seek God and ask Him what He would have them do in light of that day’s preaching. Pastor Scott is available during this time to help those who might have questions or be in need of supportive prayer.
Basically, in all we do on Sunday, we strive to lift up Jesus and exalt His Word! (John 17:17, Romans 10:17, Psalm 138:2, Hebrews 4:12)
We meet at 11:00 am
While the adults and teens are in the Sanctuary for worship, all children are invited to Children’s Church! This time is full of energy, fun, aged Bible-lessons and activities. (Ages: 5 years old – 5th grade) If you have a child, Children’s Church is the place to be on Sunday mornings! Visit us this Sunday!
begins at 10:00 am.
Our Sunday School hour is dedicated to fellowshipping and growing with other believers in the same stage of life. For the adults, it is a time to open up the Word of God in a personal setting and share prayer requests with some of our closest friends. For our children and students, it is a time to fellowship with peers of the same age while learning applicable Bible truths. For babies, it is a time to be loved and cared for by amazing nursery volunteers! (1 Thessalonians 5:11, Galatians 6:2)
Nursery care is provided for all services at First Baptist Church Elkton. Our nursery provides loving care for children ages birth to 4 years of age. Children experience lessons, songs, scripture memory, and social interaction.
All Wednesday Evening activities begin at 6:00 pm.
Wednesday Nights at First Baptist Church Elkton are dedicated to the spiritual and relational health of our church.
Pastor Scott leads a time of Bible study and corporate prayer. People are encouraged to share their prayer requests and praises or simply request prayer for an unspoken matter.

Personal Discipleship is very important in the life of a new or long-time Christian who is looking to take the next step for Jesus. Discipleship is a 14-week course open to anyone who desires to know the main, biblical tenants of the Christian faith or wants to deepen their knowledge of the Bible. The person desiring discipleship is paired with a teacher of the same gender, and they jointly study through the "Continue" course (a Bible-based, Scripture-saturated curriculum that explains and helps practically apply major Bible truths).
