From Left to Right: TJ Carpenter, Whitney
Carpenter, Lori Hubert, Mark Hubert, Chet Johnson
Testimony
Mark Hubert -- I was saved in the Summer of 1985
after responding to an altar call at church. It was then that I
came to know Jesus Christ personally.
Chester Johnson -- I am a husband and
a father of six children. I was 27 yrs. old when I received Jesus
Christ as my Savior. I was raised in a catholic family so I had no
spiritual grounding till my adult years. It was only because of the
perseverance of good Christian grandparents that I made this choice.
Many years of their teaching, preaching, and love led to my
salvation while attending Northridge Baptist Church in Mitchell,
S.D. under the direction of Pastor Tom Voigt. My family and I have
been attending First Baptist Church since November of 2000. We
became members of the church the March after. God has truly blessed
us with all of our children and we are living everyday putting Him
first in our lives and teaching our kids to live according to Gods
word. Our church family is a great blessing to all of us. Along with
his word, God uses our church family as a vessel in leading our
family and we are thankful for everyone here at First Baptist
Church. I pray God uses me in bringing his people to him and to be a
vessel for Him in our church family.
Lori Hubert -- Lori was saved by grace in the early
1980's. If you talk to her she can show you too how to be saved by
God's grace.
Mission and Purpose of
Class
TRAC stands for Teens Redeemed And
Called. Our purpose in TRAC is to teach Biblical principals
and values to area teens.
TRAC is taught in a setting considered "relaxed" by
the teens. The lesson lasts 45 minutes with a game at the end of
the lesson. We have contests also and refreshments are provided.
Vision and Hope for
Future Growth
It is our hope that as we reach out to area teens
they will realize we aren't teaching "religion", but we teach the
Bible. It has the answers to all of life's problems. |
